How to signup for iCloud on iOS devices with version 10.3 or above:

Now go ahead and Enter your birth date and click Next. Then enter your first and last name in the respective fields. Tap Next and select your current email address or get a new iCloud email address. Enter your email address either the current or the new one that you created and then go ahead to create a new strong password, Verify the password in the next field and then select a security question so that you can restore your account when you forget the password.
Type in an answer to the security question that you selected and repeat it two more times. Now Agree to the Terms and Conditions and then tap Merge or Don’t Merge to sync iCloud data from Safari, reminders, contacts, and calendars based on your preference. Tap OK to confirm Find My iPhone is turned on and your iClooud account should now be successfully created and setup on the device.
Steps to create an iCloud account for iOS version 10.2 and below:
Open the Settings app and tap the iCloud tab, then tap Create a new Apple ID to enter the account creation screen. Now enter your birth date and then tap Next and enter your first and last name in the respective fields. Tap Next and select your current email address or get a new iCloud email address based on your requirement. Enter your email address either your existing one or the one that you newly created. Then go ahead and Create a new and strong password and verify the password in the next field. Select a security question so that you can use it to reset the account in case you forget the account credentials.
Type in the answer to the above question and Repeat the same two more times. Now Agree to the Terms and Conditions presented to you and tap Merge or Don’t Merge to sync iCloud data from Safari, reminders, contacts and calendars over iCloud. Finally, Tap OK to confirm Find My iPhone is turned on. This should complete the signup process and also setup the account on the device.
